Dermalux LED face mask: home-device questions
A home LED mask and a professional clinic LED device are different products. Check the exact model, its intended purpose and its instructions before deciding whether it fits your cosmetic skincare goals.
Which light does the current mask use?
As checked on 5 October 2026, the manufacturer lists red 633 nm, near-infrared 830 nm and deep near-infrared 1072 nm for the Dermalux LED Face Mask. It does not include blue light. The manufacturer describes this mask as a skin-rejuvenation device, rather than an acne-treatment device.
The current product has one combined ten-minute programme. The previous suggestion on this page to choose a blue-light setting was incorrect. Instructions for a different Dermalux product should not be applied to this mask.
Check suitability and the current instructions
Read the user guide supplied with your exact model for contraindications, eye protection, preparation, cleaning and frequency of use. Medicines, light sensitivity, health conditions and recent procedures may affect suitability; seek appropriate professional advice if you are unsure.
Do not extend a session, add another device or change prescribed care because of a general skincare article. Stop use and seek advice if you experience an unexpected reaction.
