Upper-lip hair is a specific concern

The external skin above the lip is not the lip itself or the inside of the mouth or nose. Ask the practitioner to identify the proposed boundary rather than assuming a broad lip-treatment label covers every nearby site. Consider the hair and your expectations

Fine or light-coloured upper-lip hair may respond poorly to light treatment. Facial regrowth can occur, and neither a particular number of visits nor a permanent hair-free result is guaranteed. Ask what evidence supports the proposed approach for your actual skin and hair.
