Ultherapy

Ultherapy

What the name means

Ultherapy is a branded ultrasound treatment. Its system combines imaging with treatment energy; the brand name does not mean that every procedure advertised as HIFU uses the same equipment. Ask which device is proposed and what its current instructions permit for your particular concern.

Deciding whether it fits your goal

Start with the change you would like to discuss: for example, the appearance of loose skin rather than a general promise of looking younger. Ask what improvement is realistic for your anatomy and what the treatment is unlikely to change. A non-surgical treatment does not reproduce a surgical facelift, and an outcome cannot be promised before assessment.

Comfort, recovery and follow-up

Ask about discomfort, potential complications, recovery and the arrangements for follow-up. “Non-invasive” does not mean risk-free. Get the preparation and aftercare instructions for the exact treatment rather than following a generic online routine.

Before making a booking

Confirm the device, treatment area, practitioner and written price. Discuss your health, medicines, implants and previous cosmetic procedures during the assessment. This is information about the brand, not confirmation that Dr Sknn offers an Ultherapy service.

Discussing previous or combined procedures

Tell the assessor about previous cosmetic treatments and any further procedures you are considering. Their compatibility and timing require an individual decision, not a standard treatment bundle.
